Country of origin of the goods
The Hengate automatic coop door is manufactured in the People's Republic of China and shipped to Australia from our supply partner's warehouse there. We state this openly on the product page, in our shipping policy and here.
Product safety and standards
The Hengate automatic coop door is powered exclusively by three user-supplied AA dry cells. It contains no mains connection, no plug pack and no rechargeable battery pack, and it is therefore not an in-scope electrical article under the Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS) and does not require an RCM mark. It contains no button or coin cell battery and is therefore outside the scope of the mandatory Australian button battery safety and information standards.
The product is not a therapeutic good, not a food-contact article and not an agricultural or veterinary chemical product.

The Hengate name, the arrangement, layout and text of this site are the property of Cankaya Limited. Product photography is supplied by our manufacturing partner for use by its distributors. Reproduction for commercial purposes without written consent is prohibited.

Applicable law
Cankaya Limited is established in Hong Kong SAR and its corporate affairs are governed by Hong Kong law. Sales to consumers in Australia remain subject in full to the mandatory protections of Australian law, in particular the Australian Consumer Law in Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth), and to the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Taxes
Cankaya Limited is not currently registered for Australian GST, its Australian turnover being below the A$75,000 registration threshold. Prices shown do not include GST and no GST is charged.
